P R O U D.
If there’s one word to describe the Town of Tappahannock, proud fits the bill.
Proud of their rich history.
Proud of their stunning waterways.
Proud of their tight-knit and welcoming community.
Want to see all of that pride in full force as the community comes together to share a taste of their little slice of heaven through the summer months this year?
Consider visiting this Middle Peninsula town for their monthly Tappahannock Farmers’ Market.
SHAMELESS PLUG: plan your trip around a paddling excursion. Visit the Middle Peninsula Water Trails page here to see where you can put in the water.
This traditional farmers’ market, located in the historic downtown area at the intersection of Cross Street and Prince Street, takes place every third Saturday from April to November from 9 am to 1 pm.

Vendors come out bringing fresh produce, plants, arts and crafts, baked goods, and great music.
Enjoy the day getting to know what makes Tappahannock so special (at the market and then on the waterways).
Discover the rich history.
See the pride.
