Earth Day 50 at Kiptopeke State Park 2020

Celebrate 50 years of conservation efforts. The Chesapeake Bay Watershed is a vast and vibrant ecosystem that has witnessed the dawn of man, the birth of a nation and the perpetual evolution of civilization. The bay spans more than 64,000 square miles and its watershed covers parts of six states – Delaware, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia – and all of the District of Columbia. More than 18 million people live its watershed.
